Step 1: Update iTunes to the latest version available and reboot your computer. If your iPhone is not running OS 3.1.2, update your iPhone to firmware 3.1.2 in iTunes.

Step 2: Download BlackRa1n RC3 from our iPhone Downloads page.

Step 3: Plug your iPhone to your computer and make sure iTunes is closed. Run BlackRa1n RC3 and click on “make it ra1n”.

Step 4: Your iPhone will enter recovery mode and you will see the usual recovery image replaced by a picture of GeoHot.

Step 5: BlackRa1n will run on your iPhone and it will reboot when done.

Step 6: A message will show up asking to donate. If your jailbreak is successful, I think it’s the right thing to do to donate $5 or more. It’s a good way to keep GeoHot motivated.

Step 7: After your iPhone has rebooted, you will notice a new BlackRa1n icon on your springboard. Make sure you have an internet connection and launch BlackRa1n.app on your iPhone.

Step 8: You will now have the option to install Cydia, Rock, or both if you choose to, then tap “install”. You will also notice that Icy is gone and it’s been replaced by “sn0w”. Run “sn0w” only if you want to unlock your iPhone.

Step 9: Once the packages are installed, your iPhone will respring and you should see Cydia (and Rock if you chose it) on your springboard.

Step 10: Once Cydia and/or Rock are installed on your springboard, you can now uninstall BlackRa1n from your iPhone. Uninstalling BlackRa1n will obviously not remove the jailbreak. It will simply remove the BlackRa1n.app that was used to install the packages. To do so, simply launch the BlackRa1n.app and select “uninstall BlackRa1n”.

Step 11: After uninstalling BlackRa1n, I suggest you reboot your iPhone.

Open Cydia > Manage > Sources > Edit
Add source "http://cydia.hackulo.us"
Section > Hackulo.us > "AppSynch for OS3.1">
Install > done.

Fix blacksn0w WiFi Youtube GPS Problem on iPhone 3.1.2 Firmware

Fix #1: Reset Network Settings
On your iPhone 3G and 3GS, navigate to Settings –> General –> Reset –> Reset Network Settings.

Step 2: A dialog will prompt you with “Reset Network Settings” button as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 3: Hit this button and turn off your iPhone by holding down power button on the top and then slide to turn off your phone. Now turn on your iPhone by holding down the power button on the top again until you see the Apple logo.

Resetting your network setting will fix your WiFi problem temporarily. The problem will come back once you have rebooted your iPhone again. You will have to reset your network settings pretty much every time you reboot your iPhone.

Fix #2: Install Push Fix App

Push Fix app from Cydia is used to fix Push Notifications on hacktivated iPhone 3.1.x firmware. I found out that installing this app also fixes all issues caused by blacksn0w related to WiFi, Youtube app and GPS along with Push Notifications on hacktivated iPhone’s.
Follow the steps below to install Push Fix app:

Step 1: First reset your network settings as mentioned in Fix #1 above to bring back WiFi temporarily. We need WiFi to install Push Fix app from Cydia.

Step 2: Now start “Cydia” on your iPhone. Touch on “Manage” tab on the bottom and then on “Sources” as seen in the screenshot below:

Step 3: Touch on “Edit” and then on “Add”. You will be prompted to enter a url source as seen in the screenshot below. Type “http://cydia.iphoneil.net” and touch on “Add Source”.

Cydia will now automatically update your sources by following a series of automated steps.

Step 4: After installation is completed. Search for “Push Fix” in Cydia and install this application. This app will automatically fix Push Notification System on your unlocked and jailbroken iPhone.

Step 5: Restart you iPhone.

Credit for Fix #2 goes to our reader Keneth_C. It should fix all issues related to WiFi, Youtube and GPS which some of you might have encountered when unlocking your iPhone with blacksn0w.[/LEFT]

Jailbreak your iphone, when it has to be serviced, restore via itunes, then there is no trace your phone is jailbreaked..

Every stage has it's own 'Gold zone', where the Fleta can obtain the gold by simply standing there for a very short moment. But be aware! The gold will be given only occasionally!

Have you ever noticed how your favorite radio station plays new, popular music fairly often, throws in those great classics, and lots of music that you haven’t heard in awhile?

My Hit Radio brings this ability to the music that you own, by generating playlists on the fly for your iPhone and iPod Touch with YOUR music.

How does it work? Simple. Using easily customizable settings, My Hit Radio generates a playlist based on how you’ve rated the song and the last time you’ve heard it. Highly rated songs are essentially played more often, and lower rated songs, less often. You decide how often to hear them. Optionally, rate your songs with one star, and they will never be included in the playlist that’s generated.

If you’ve already rated some or all of your music, My Hit Radio will work for you. Unrated songs are limited by default so that your playlist has a good mix of rated and unrated music.

If you haven’t rated any of your music, it will work for you too! Just turn off the option to limit unrated songs and you’ll get a large playlist to listen to. When you start to rate songs, you’ll immediately see the benefits of listening to My Hit Radio by hearing your favorite music, more often. You can rate your songs via iTunes on your computer, or while listening to the music by using the iPod app on your device.

Jailbreak any iphone on any firmware for windows users

There are a few important things to note about BlackRa1n:

* BlackRa1n can jailbreak OS 3.1 and 3.1.2
* BlackRa1n is for Windows only so far. If you’re using Windows 7 , run BlackRa1n as an admin with “Windows XP Compatibility” mode by enabling it from the “Properties” tab
* BlackRa1n does not hacktivate your iPhone, which means you must be using an official carrier
* BlackRa1n does not unlock the iPhone
* iPhone 3G and 3GS users should not upgrade to 3.1.2 if they want to keep their unlock. You will have to wait for an updated version of PwnageTool if you want to unlock the latest OS.
* the iPod Touch 3G is supported but it is a tethered jailbreak which means you’ll have to use BlackRa1n everytime you want to boot your iTouch

This is the RC1 of BlackRa1n and it is still a little buggy so be careful.

Note:If you want to keep your unlock, you should NOT update to 3.1.2. Simply wait for the Dev Team to update PwnageTool.

This step-by-step guide/tutorial will show you how to jailbreak your iPhone using BlackRa1n, the latest jailbreak tool by GeoHot. This BlackRa1n tutorial is for Windows users only.

BlackRa1n will not unlock your iPhone. Also you should not update to 3.1.2 if you want to be able to unlock. If that’s your case, you will have to wait for the Dev Team to update PwnageTool.

This tutorial was written for an iPhone 3GS but the process is exactly the same for all iPhones and all iPod Touch.

How to Jailbreak Your iPhone Using BlackRain:

Step 1: Update iTunes to the latest version available and reboot your PC

Step 2: Download BlackRa1n from our iPhone downloads page and install it, then reboot your PC (note that rebooting is not necessary but I always do this as a precaution).

Step 3: Plug your iPhone to your computer and launch BlackRa1n. Click on “make it ra1n”.

Step 4: Your iPhone will now enter recovery mode. The regular recovery mode image on your iPhone will be replaced by a picture of GeoHot.

Step 5: BlackRa1n will run on your iPhone and then it will reboot.

A pop up will show up asking you to donate. If you successfully jailbreak your iPhone, I suggest you send $5 or $10 to GeoHot.

Step 6: Once your iPhone reboots, you will notice a new icon on your springboard. This is BlackRa1n. Now make sure you have internet connection and launch BlackRa1n on your iPhone.

Step 7: Choose what installer applications you want to install on your iPhone and then tap “Install”. I suggest only installing Cydia but you may install them all if you want to.

BlackRa1n will download and install the selected applications.

Step 8: Once done installing, your iPhone will respring and you should see your installer app on your springboard.

Step 9: Once your installer app (Cydia in our case) is installed. You can safely uninstall BlackRa1n by launching the app and selecting “uninstall balckra1n”.

Step 10: Reboot your iPhone.
