Solution for Crashing / Memory Low
All ipodTouches and iPhones have the same amount of memory and should act the same way, but the amount of memory you have left (system RAM not storage) will depend on what you were running beforehand.
Step 1. Reboot your device by holding the sleep button on top for a few seconds and then slide the red button (slide to power off). Turn the device back on.
Step 2. Force quit background applications. The ipod, mail, and safari application are allowed to run in the background, using up precious system ram. Start the safari application and then hold the HOME button until the the application quits back to the home screen. Repeat for the ipod and mail applications.
Step 3. Run the game before doing anything else! The game should run without crashes or memory warnings.
