Rounders v1.0 for iPhone and iPod Touch
The movie Rounders was one of the early reasons poker gained traction in pop culture. Now, you can't change the channel on TV without running into a poker show. And while the movie showed the complex nature of poker, the game that is based off of it is one of the worst poker sims you'll find in the App Store.
It tries to cash in on the popularity of the movie instead of focusing on actual gameplay. The plot is taken straight from the film. You just got busted at Teddy KGB's place and must climb back up the poker ladder. Plus, you've inherited your friend Worm's debt. You have just five days to earn enough cash to pay it off and get back at KGB.
You play at a number of locales, from the University to the Taj Majal to a cigar shop. Use these underground cash games to build up your bankroll. If you're ever short on cash, you can drive a delivery truck for a few hours to earn a hundred bucks.
