Since early childhood Alvise fascinated by the ice. With his first love, Noemi, he licks vanilla ice cream, as a student, he helps out in an ice-cream. Later, he will, after some hemming and hawing, even gelati. He has talent and won the Coppa d'Oro, a sort of Oscar for the best of his guild.
And yet not Alvise happy. After a serious crisis, he decides to look for his former great love: the missing for a long time Noemi. And he finds them - in America. But can recover after more than twenty years, the old intimacy? Is it possible to turn back the wheel of time?
